Description

8th - 10th July residential course

This weekend is a comprehensive introduction to bat identification, natural history and conservation, combining daytime talks and workshop sessions with evening activities to watch for bats.  The course will cover the identification of British species in the hand and an introduction to the identification of bats in flight with the use of ultrasonic detection. Depending upon the needs of the group, more detailed study of ultrasonics will be possible.

The course is designed for anyone with a general or professional interest in bats and is also appropriate for anyone working towards a Natural England batworkers' licence.
