Areas of responsibility

Together with your colleagues on our wind farm sites, you will contribute to the development of an excellent HSE culture where quality and safety are essential to the daily wind farm operation. You will also contribute to the establishment of safe and efficient sites where thorough planning of all activities prevents incidents and mistakes.

You will prepare reports on incidents and participate in cross-functional projects and tasks, etc. Additionally, you will visit our wind turbines and involve your colleagues on site in the work. 

Furthermore, your primary tasks will be to:

-launch campaigns, for example on safe behaviour
-support your colleagues in the organisation in relation to risk assessment
-train your colleagues and external business partners in safety matters
-plan and run emergency drills, carry out audits and inspections
-manage our contacts with the authorities and our emergency partners.


Your profile

You will have a relevant technical background supplemented with an academic approach to your work and will be enthusiastic about working with HSE matters. Holding a NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous. Additionally, you will have an appropriate level of HSE experience, perhaps from a position within the fields of offshore industry, shipping or similar.

A thorough knowledge of relevant applicable rules and regulations in the United Kingdom is required.

You will have excellent communication skills as your duties will involve daily contact with many business partners, including authorities and various professional groups, etc. Additionally, you will have the ability to make essential safety processes and decisions and the courage to take the lead and involve your colleagues in safety matters. 

When visiting wind farm sites, you will be both able to focus on safety details and the overall perspectives. You will be able to combine your professional knowledge with practical observations and finish works which have already commenced. You will have a flexible approach to your work and will be prepared to make an extra effort when required.
