HR Services Manager

Due to a restructure in the People Development Team at the Eden Project we are seeking an experienced HR Services Manager. You will manage a small team of three people, lead the operational activities of HR Services and deputise for the People Development Manager.

We are seeking a unique individual that can juggle several tasks, whilst keeping a smile on their face. You have to be able to cope with constant change and a fast pace of work. The team supports 700 employees throughout the year, which consist of operational staff to run the visitor destination plus others that work with organisations and charities to meet our charitable aims.

The HR Services Manager role concentrates on the day to day HR processes from recruitment to termination, including employee relation issues, absence management, basic skills training, coaching and mentoring, payroll, ensuring policies are in line with legislation and creating reports from the HR systems to maximise efficiency for management.

The successful applicant will be competent in the use of ICT, be a champion of good practice regarding people issues, have good listening, interpersonal and communication skills, lead by example and have up to date legislative knowledge.
