Description
You will lead a team in master planning and securing park, green open space and roadside tree-planting provision in Singapore, as well as in exploring alternative land-use arrangements to meet our parks, recreation and other greening objectives. The job includes reviewing and formulating policies and procedures in this aspect, processing land-use proposals from various land-use planning agencies in Singapore, involvement in various land-use discussion forums, work-groups, etc.
 
Requirements:
 
  • A good Honours Degree in Recreation Planning, Urban Planning, Town Planning, Real Estate, Estate Management, Geography or related field of study
  • A good Honours Degree in Architecture, Biology, Horticulture or Forestry will be considered
  • Possess good leadership, administrative and communication skills
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience

Appointment will be on a 1 year contract basis and salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include 14 or 18 days annual leave, medical and dental subsidies, sports and recreation facilities and group personal accident insurance coverage.
