We are one of the leading developers and operators of offshore wind projects in the United Kingdom. We have experienced significant growth over recent years and we face exciting new challenges in the future across our expanding portfolio. We are looking for a Head of UK Commercial Project Development to join our UK Project Development department and you will be based at our London office in the UK. You should also expect some travelling to our other offices and partner sites across the UK and to North West Europe, primarily Denmark. Areas of responsibility As Head of UK Commercial Project Development, you will be responsible for commercial management of our offshore wind farm projects in the development phrase. The function is responsible for the business case, commercial agreements and JV Management. Furthermore, your key duties will include:
Your profile It is essential that you will have considerable experience within the energy sector, preferably in offshore wind projects. A legal, consulting, large corporation or investment banking background will be advantageous. You will have prior experience in contract negotiation with major stakeholders coupled with line manager experience. Ideally, you will have experience working in JVs and partnerships. You will have solid financial and legal skills, including understanding of contractual terms and project value drivers. Furthermore, you will have advanced negotiation skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition you will have a strong drive and demonstrate an ability to simultaneously run parallel processes and you will demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills.
