Head of Site and Commissioning Management of offshore wind farm construction

Areas of responsibility
As a manager, you will cooperate closely with other departments across a large organisation, especially the departments involved in project development, execution and engineering.

Your primary task will be to ensure that your department has the required employees at all times and that their competences are maintained and developed continuously.

Additionally, you will ensure the professional development of strategies, systems, procedures and method descriptions for the department. You will ensure proper updating of our market knowledge and surveillance of market development and further develop a successful cooperation with external business partners.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

• manage the department on a daily basis, including distance management of employees
• provide clear instructions and information for your employees
• ensure successful development of key documents and procedures for the department
• ensure knowledge sharing across Wind Power and the entire company.

Your profile
You will have a suitable educational background, for example as a construction engineer or equivalent.

It is important that you are able to draw on leadership experience and experience with people management, preferably also distance management. Furthermore, you will also have experience with working in an organisation where HSE is at the top of the agenda.

Additionally, you will have some years of experience from the offshore wind construction sector or from similar industries where you have worked with large construction projects.

Our projects bring together various employee groups, cultures and authorities, and during periods the, atmosphere may be very hectic. Therefore, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and speak and write English fluently.

You will have some experience with the challenges of rules and legislations across borders and ideally international experience.

It is essential that you can motivate and inspire a team of skilled employees. You will also be able to demonstrate personal impact and play a leading role. In addition, you will have a result-oriented approach to your work and a team-oriented approach to your colleagues and employees.
