Head of operation of wind farms in Denmark

Areas of responsibility
You will be responsible for managing the production and operating and optimising the Danish wind farms providing work for more than 100 committed employees.

Your primary task will be to manage the group of competent site managers. In addition, you will optimise the operation of the wind farms to improve the production at still lower costs.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

• have P&L responsibility for operation of all the wind farms in terms of budgeting and reporting
• ensure that production is continuously optimised, and that the elements of the farms are maintained on an ongoing basis
• build and maintain good relations to owners, partners and other stakeholders in and outside the local environment
• be overall responsible for environment and safety in connection with operation and maintenance of the wind farms.

Your profile
You will have a managerial background from a production company, preferably supplemented with supplementary education where you have acquired a good business understanding.

It is essential that you are experienced at a high professional level.

Furthermore, you will have experience with production as well as comprehensive experience with distance management of independent managers.

As we are an international company and cooperate closely with our colleagues abroad, it is important that you are able to speak and write both Danish and English fluently.

It is essential that you have personal drive and can inspire and motivate a group of skilled employees working in a geographically spread organisation. You can think coherently and know how to develop the contact to employees, partners and suppliers.

You will have a committed and business-orientated approach to your work and be able to complete the tasks you initiate.
