Head of Conservation Biology

Marwell Wildlife is looking for someone very special to become our Head of Conservation Biology. Working closely with the Director of Conservation, you will lead and nurture an experienced team of conservation managers and scientists with established operations in four countries.

The successful candidate will be calm, understated and a consummate diplomat who will embrace the opportunity to support and grow the impact of the team. You will have a doctorate or equivalent in biological, environmental or related scientific discipline and bring a wealth of experience operating in the international conservation arena, ideally having worked extensively in Africa. You will be able to demonstrate a track record in academic writing, supervision of post-graduate students and fund raising. Exceptional managerial skills and care for the wellbeing of those around you is essential for this role. We want someone with an infectious enthusiasm and love of wildlife, with the aptitude and desire to convey the values and benefits of nature to human health and wellbeing.
