Green Roof Volunteer
Are you passionate about the environment--specifically the Anacostia River and its tributaries? Looking
for ways to learn new skills or find out more about the environmental field? AWS is currently seeking
a volunteer to assist with our Green Roof program. This is an excellent opportunity to help AWS in its
mission to clean the water, recover the shores, and honor the heritage of the Anacostia! Assistance
is needed with a variety of administrative and demonstration projects – projects may vary depending
on your interests and skills! Activities could include office work, assistance with marketing, record
keeping, education, setting up a demonstration area and outreach. Please contact Green Roof
