GREEN GYM PROJECT OFFICER

Grade 8 £19,418 

The Conservation Volunteers is theUK’s leading practical conservation charity working with people from all sectors of the community in positive action to improve the environment. 

This post will use The Conservation Volunteers Green Gym Model approach to establish and support community lead allotment and food growing projects across the South Eastern Area.  Funded by the Public Health Agency, you will work to reduce health inequalities, encourage physical activity, healthier lifestyles and an appreciation of the wider environment.

Experience of horticulture, practical conservation, developing cross-sector partnerships, and project management are required. The ability to work with people from a range of backgrounds is desirable.

A full driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive a minibus.
