Description

Environmental and social regeneration charity Groundwork London is looking to recruit an experienced and strategically focused Programme Manager to lead our well regarded Green Doctor programme.

The Green Doctor programme delivers home energy efficiency visits to vulnerable clients: a mixture of installing low cost energy devices, providing advice and guidance, and referring residents on to further services and agencies. It is well established, working across 14 London boroughs, with an experienced delivery team

The Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the Green Doctor management and delivery team; delivering all existing services to an excellent standard and leading the development of the programme and the adaptation of its services to meet a diverse and growing range of requirements, particularly in the health and financial inclusion sectors.

You should have strategic vision and be competent managing a large team delivering multiple projects. You will have a good knowledge of energy efficiency and the effects fuel poverty has on the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people, along with the negative health implications of living in a cold home.  We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have health sector experience with knowledge of NHS systems and/or experience working on financial inclusion projects.

You’ll also have excellent interpersonal skills in order to form and maintain multiagency partnerships with strong written communication skills to allow you to produce reports, evaluations and funding applications.

Ideally you will hold a qualification as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or equivalent, as this would be beneficial to the role.

The post-holder needs to maintain a flexible approach to the role as it develops and our Energy Services programmes change.

Apply now!  Go to our webiste and download the JD and our application form.  CVs will not be considered.
