DONG E&P, a subsidiary of the DONG Group, conducts upstream operations in oil and natural gas. We operate and participate in a wide range of offshore exploration and production activities in the Danish, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Norwegian and United Kingdom (West of Shetlands) sectors. The E&P business unit has experienced significant growth over recent years and faces exciting new challenges across its expanding portfolio of exploration, development and production assets.

Our Technology and Operations division provides advanced engineering services to develop, engineer, operate and maintain our offshore installations. We have five departments within this division, of which Offshore Technology includes the Facilities department. This group provides project personnel for major Greenfield opportunities and evaluates new prospects for development. We enjoy close co-operation across our challenging working environments, where skills, experience, intuition and humor all play a major part.

Due to ongoing growth we are currently seeking Engineers, who would like to be a part of our team. The successful candidates would be expected to be involved in a wide variety of work across our assets both in large greenfield projects and extention of lifetime on brownfields. Further to this they will be involved in a 2 year ambitious international self development program within the DONG Energy Group.

Your Tasks

  • Provide cost and schedule estimates economics assessments & recommend further activity
  • Initiate and manage resources, budgets and the delivery within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Participate in the work with sub-contractors, including design teams, fabricators, suppliers and implementation crews
  • Be involved in independent PEER reviews of DONG projects and partner developments

Your profile

  • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in an engineering discipline (structural, process and mechanical or Electrical)
  • Chartered Engineering status
  • An ability to manage tasks and cooperate internally and externally 

Typical Tasks
You will provide technical operational engineering support to the offshore facilities 
Plan, develop and monitor preventive maintenance in order to maintain and improve high uptime as well as plan and monitor major overhauls.
You will be evaluating the latest technology to provide solutions in order to improve the operational effectiveness. 
Ensure that all consultancy and supplier activities meet agreed targets
Participate as internal consultant in connection with maturing and modification projects
Participation in development projects in Denmark, Norway and Britain is an option

As a Person you are:

A self-motivated, team player, with a drive to execute
Good communication skills, including oral and written reporting, must be fluent in English
Must be able to interface at all levels of an organisation (internally & with external partners and regulatory authorities, where applicable)
Flexibility and the ability to travel, depending upon project requirements
