FUEL POVERTY COORDINATOR

Scale SO1 (£24,892 - £26,539 per annum)

Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2016

37 hours per week

Arun Civic Centre, Littlehampton

Would you like to make a positive difference to the lives of residents in West Sussex?

Based at Arun District Council, but working across the whole of West Sussex, your primary role will be to identify and develop programmes and initiatives which reduce fuel poverty, including maximising opportunities to access external funding, and delivering training on fuel poverty to relevant organisations and service providers. 

As the key contact within West Sussex for all organisations, groups and individuals with an interest in fuel poverty, you will have a high level of initiative, be innovative and dynamic, with an ability to communicate at all levels, have a strong partnership focus, be able to work autonomously, using both practical abilities and technical knowledge to achieve objectives.

Ideally you will have a degree in an energy related subject or similar, up-to-date knowledge of energy efficiency, grants and initiatives, and a minimum six months’ experience working in health, local government or other related organisations.
