Long term volunteer food preparation – Job Description:

For this role you will be working in the kitchen most part of the day preparing the primate food, with limited interaction with the primates during working hours, your tasks will include:

• Organising and supervising primate food preparation, cooking primate food (potatoes, green beans, eggs etc.).
• Management of food waste.
• Organise daily food allocations.
• Shopping (At the fruit market).
• Stock check and purchasing for primate kitchen, volunteer house.
• Washing up & cleaning the primate kitchen.
• Taking care of the nocturnal animals.
• Attend daily morning meetings when on duty.
• Supervising short term volunteers with daily food prep.
• All long term volunteers are required to do morning feeds and evening bowl collection on a rota basis.
• Minimum age of 23 is desirable dependent on experience.
