£33,772 to £40,145 per annum
37.5 hours per week (reduced contracted hours to 30 per week with pro-rata salary reduction would be considered)
Based at National Park Headquarters, Balloch

We are looking for a qualified finance professional to manage and deliver the finance, management information and performance monitoring/reporting services for Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority. This will involve contributing to the long term planning for the organisation. You will also drive forward the rationalisation and simplification of management information (including finance) and be at the forefront of establishing effective organisational performance measurement systems to continue to meet organisation needs and enable informed decision-making. There will be a requirement to work with colleagues in Cairngorms National Park Authority to deliver consistent and (where appropriate) joint finance and management information services between both Scottish National Park Authorities. 

If you have the following skills:

  • Qualified Accountant with current full professional membership of a CCAB accountancy body with evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Post qualification experience in managing a finance department or service
  • Experience of establishing management information reporting systems or procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing service performance to agreed targets.
  • Ability to translate complicated technical information to meet the information needs of a variety of audiences.
  • Experience of budget management, objective setting and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
