Description
This project is looking for highly motivated, early-career biologists to assist researchers during the upcoming turtle season (October 2023 to March 2024) in Costa Rica. Field biologists assist with tagging and measuring nesting turtles, monitor nests in the hatchery, and other tasks such as engaging with visitors at the marine biology station. Applications are invited from now to 20 June, 2023.
This is an excellent opportunity for early career biologists and individuals with a scientific background.
Benefits include free flights, accommodation and food. Field biologists who excel in their positions are eligible for one of three fellowships (US$1000 each).
A full project description, including application instructions, is given on the Volunteer Abroad pages of our website.
