ETIP is seeking a Research Fellow to contribute to work related to assessing and promoting policy options for reducing oil consumption and greenhouse gas emissions associated with the transportation sector. The Fellow will report directly to one of ETIP's faculty chairs and shall focus his or her research on one of the following subject areas: assessing the factors affecting the commercial penetration of alternative fueled vehicles; examining the role of alternative fuels; and assessing policy options to reduce congestion in urban areas, particularly in rapidly emerging countries. The Research Fellow will be expected to produce at least one publishable article, present his findings before internal and external audiences, help develop an agenda for a workshop or seminar on one of these three topics, and play a substantive role in the dissemination process of any findings.
