You should be a skilled graduate in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology with experience in processing cellulosic feedstocks using both thermo-chemical and enzymatic treatments. You should have at least 5 years experience and a proven track record in pre-treatment, hydrolysis and the analysis of cellulosic feedstocks from within an agricultural or food processing environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience in enzymology, microbial fermentation and biofuel production. You will be responsible for building and managing a team that develops and tests methodologies for pre-treatment and enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulosic feedstocks for microbial fermentation. Project management skills and leadership qualities are highly desirable. |
