Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund requires a family learning project manager

Families from Cornwall and Middlesbrough are learning how to grow, harvest and cook their own fruit and vegetables as part of a lottery–funded initiative. Due to our current Project Manager moving abroad, we are looking for a capable project manager to build on the successful first half of the project.

You will be an experienced, self motivated programme and project manager, with outstanding people skills, a good communicator able to inspire and persuade. You will be experienced in managing multi–stakeholder projects with a proven track record of delivering on budget and on time.

Articulate, positive, cheerful and determined, you will be able to skillfully manage established, productive relationships within Eden Project, with project partners and the Big Lottery.
You will be comfortable working with a wide range of people from government agencies, senior executives, managers and project workers to families, young children grass-roots groups, community activists and the media.
Experience of community development work with community gardening and family learning would be an advantage.

This position will involve working with children and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check.
