Incorporated in 1994, Wild Care is an independent, conservation-based wildlife clinic serving Cape Cod, the Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts in the rehabilitation of over 270 species of native birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. WILD CARE’S mission is to: rescue and rehabilitate injured, ill and orphaned native birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians; prevent wildlife casualties via public education and live counseling, and to actively engage the community in conservation and inspire stewardship via volunteerism. Situated on 2.2 acres abutting conservation land with pre-release habitats and caging including a state-of-the-art 72’ elliptical aviary, WILD CARE is only minutes away from the Cape Cod National Seashore.
