Working within the Environmental Strategy Team you will provide professional expertise with regard to a broad range of environmental issues including climate change, carbon emissions reductions and sustainability within the council and across the wider community.
We are looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic environmental practitioner who can meet the challenge of enhancing Hounslow's environment. You will work with developers, government agencies, council departments and partner organisations to help deliver environmental improvements.
You must have excellent oral and written communication skills and some experience of collecting, analysing and monitoring data. You will demonstrate an understanding of the relevant environmental legislation appropriate to the public sector and the local community and be willing to work as part of a team as well as on your own using your own initiative.
