Job Summary:

We currently have an opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join an established and growing multi-disciplined engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will specialise in both Air and Noise Assessments, helping to gain planning consent for clients across the public and private sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a budding environmental consultant to develop their skill base to include site surveys, report writing and the analysis of datasets.  

Responsibilities:

The Air and Noise Consultant’s brief will include;

• Analysis of large Air quality and Noise datasets
• Interpretive report writing from datasets to input into EIAs and bespoke Noise and Air quality assessments for a range of industrial and commercial projects
• Completion of Air and Noise monitoring reports (AERMOD/CadnA)
• Development of Construction Environmental Management Plans.

Qualifications / Experience:

Successful candidates will have;

• Some knowledge of Noise and Air quality monitoring methodology, standards, guidance and legislation
• Familiarity with software packages including AERMOD, CadnA or Sound Plan
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel and excellent attention to detail for manipulating large datasets
