Helping to foster growth and support communities in responding to Climate ChangeGroundwork East of England is an environmental regeneration charity working with partners to improve the quality of the local environment, the lives of local people and the success of local businesses in areas in need of investment and support. Environmental Business Advisor£26,000 p.a. plus benefits Three year fixed term contract Woodbridge, Suffolk In this new role working in partnership with Suffolk County Council you will support the delivery of a European funded business programme to engage with the Clean Energy Cashback scheme and help businesses to take up grants for renewable technologies. In addition you will take forward Groundwork’s work supporting businesses on the implementation of environmental management systems. Ideally an Associate of IEMA you must have a proven track record of working with businesses, particularly SMEs, on renewable technologies, securing their commitment and enthusiasm to environmental projects. With well-developed presentation, communication and organisation skills, you must have the drive needed to be effective in this role. A current car licence is essential. The post is based at Groundwork’s office in Suffolk Coastal District Council, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
