Energy Solutions Architect

Develop relationships at the ‘C’ level in major organisations influencing procurement and financial decisions, supporting the Business Development Manager as necessary

• Maximise any commercial opportunities that may occur before, during and after a tender negotiation period and act upon any initiative that may arise which would assist in securing the contract.
• Prepare complex models outlining financial characteristics of projects, risks and customer benefits.
• Manage the design validation and co-ordination of a team during tender process, provide pre- qualification, presentation and proposal support to sales team.
• Ensure technical solutions have robust cost and savings figures with appropriate audit trail.
• Model how energy savings can be delivered (order and by priority) in a performance contract
• Develop and maintain process for the development of Energy Performance Contracts.
• Develop the knowledge and capability of other team members to ensure success
• Be proactive with on-going sales process to advise key customers of full range of Envido’s products and services
• Network within the industry. Be seen to be a trusted advisor / partner of clients.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Knowledge of the energy supply, energy efficiency and Energy Performance Contracting markets

• Strong technical skills in energy efficient systems an advantage
• Knowledge of project financing offerings and ability to build complex models.
• Ability to articulate complex energy-saving solutions including costs and savings calculations
• Must work in a clear and methodical manner with complete transparency
• Must be experienced in working to and developing governance around solution development to achieve consistent results each time
• Must be able to plan work and deliver to agreed deadlines
• High degree of commercial awareness
• Experience of a wide range of energy conservation measures
• Ability to work as a team with a proactive approach to dealing with clients and/or suppliers
