Energy Manager

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Envido is a one of the fastest growing carbon management companies in the UK.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects providing technical inputs to a multitude of energy/carbon management programmes. You will be involved in wider carbon reduction programmes that will help our clients to improve their environmental performance, reduce their carbon footprint and make savings.

You will provide comprehensive cost & energy reduction solutions to large blue chip enterprises, specifically focusing on the services industry or the manufacturing, industrial facilities and process industry.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Delivering a proven methodical approach to operational cost & energy reduction utilising our engineering consultants and product portfolio
• Core areas of focus will be delivering sustained energy savings across a wide spectrum of services organisations, industrial facilities and general manufacturing organisations 
• Making savings implementation covering energy efficiency, capital projects and low carbon technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completing complex energy surveys, scoping audits and implementing cost reduction programs within our blue chip clients
• Continuously developing our methodology and supporting technical skills covering Refrigeration, HVAC, Compressed Air, VSDs, CHP, Motors & Drives, Lighting, Industrial Boilers & Steam Systems, Metering and Data Collection.
• Provide feasibility studies of cost initiatives of reducing energy usage and project mange the findings
• Ability to produce complex energy models 
• Analyse and evaluate Plant operational data for energy efficiency, 
• Report on feasibility and financial appraisal for implementing energy efficiency measures and improvements of energy efficient operational strategies
• Producing well-structured documents using appropriate language maintain a good attention to the detail
• Managing & presenting to clients : good client & confident interfacing skills required
• Working on multi discipline projects as well as working under your own initiative
• Provide pre-sales support to sales team

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Engineering degree
• Direct energy management experience working with clients within the Services industry or Manufacturing/Industrial industry
• Have been responsible for delivering energy efficiency projects
• Strong ability to plan & prioritise heavy and diverse workloads to self and others, also demonstrating sound problem solving abilities, organisation skills and keen attention to detail
• Have good Project Management skills with proven experience of project completion and successful delivery  
• Be an excellent communicator - both written and verbal - at all levels, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate where necessary
• Ability to communicate complex solutions to a non-technical audience
