We are looking for an

Energy Efficiency Specialist

The position is part of our project "Finance for a safer climate - EU funds 2014-2020" and the person will also serve as an Assistant Coordinator for EU funds. The project, carried out from May 2013 till April 2014, focuses on efficient integration of issues concerning and promoting energy efficiency as well as renewable energy sources (RES) in the programming of EU funds for 2014-2020.

The successful candidate (half time) will support the coordinator of EU funds in the project management, in particular by providing expertise and opinion on documents concerning the programming of EU funds for energy efficiency and promoting the development of renewable energy sources. He or she will also be responsible for specific tasks specified in the project (co-organizing workshops for NGOs, meetings with decision-makers, creating positions and recommendations for projects of national and regional operational programs).

Work will be performed in the office of CEE Bankwatch Network in Warsaw, with the ability to work remotely (persons resident outside Warsaw, who have the experience and ability to work remotely, are also welcome to submit their applications).

Requirements:
1.Experience in advocacy and / or knowledge of issues related to the development and implementation of EU Cohesion Policy, with particular emphasis on the principles of sustainable development\
2.Knowledge of the subject of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources based on experience in this field
3.Fluency in English
4.Ability to work in a team
5.Ability to work remotely (telecommuting)
6.Accuracy
