ENERGY ADVISORS (2 POSTS) (Fixed Term until September 2013) Salary £17,850pa - £24,255pa Full time - 37 hours per week (flexibility is required for evening or weekend work)
The Rural Green Doctors Programme will provide energy and carbon reduction advice to community organisations in the rural wards of Caerphilly by offering free specialised advice service to community venues. Community venues will also benefit financially from energy saving measures, supporting the long-term sustainability of such venues. This programme is funded by the Rural Development Plan for Wales (RDP) is jointly funded by the EU and Welsh Assembly Government (WAG).
Applicants are required to have a qualification in energy efficiency, good communication and organisation skills with an ability to work and build relationships within local communities.
A high standard of IT experience is essential. A commitment to achieving successful and sustainable schemes is a requirement for this post.
