Job Summary:

Mattinson Partnership is supporting one of the world’s leading real estate services company in their search for an EIA consultant to support their building consultancy team.  You will assist the lead EIA consultant in the delivery of EIA services, advising both public and private sector clients on a range of residential, commercial, industrial, retail and mixed-use schemes.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The EIA consultant will;

• Undertake Screening and scoping assessments
• Compile and review Environmental Statements
• Manage and coordinate inputs from project teams and technical specialists
• Engage with key stakeholders throughout the EIA process including local authority and statutory consultees.

You will be encouraged to be commercially minded, using your own initiative to come up with appropriate resolutions to client’s requests.

Qualifications / Experience:

The EIA consultant will have;

• A relevant degree.  Postgraduate EIA qualification is desirable
• At least 2 years’ experience working within consultancy
• Excellent knowledge of the UK Planning regime
• Project portfolio should include mixed use projects schemes and experience of Marine licensing would advantageous when undertaking this role.
