Education & Training Manager

Groundwork Pennine Lancashire currently runs a programme of school and community based education for sustainable development and has exciting opportunities to develop this further. We are looking for an experienced Education & Training Manager to join our "People" Division to deliver workshops, manage a small team of staff and develop new programmes with schools, colleges and private sector clients.

 

The postholder requires a qualification in an environmentally based subject and experience of developing and delivering educational workshops to a wide range of people. Knowledge of environmental and sustainable development issues and applying these through the nationail curriculum framework would be advantageous. A proven ability of delivering learning along with excellent written and oral presentation skills and competent IT skills will be needed. A driving licence is also an essential requirement for the post.

 

Appointment to this post is subject to an Enhanced check endorsed by the Criminal Records Bureau. This check will be made under Section 7(1) of the Protection of Children Act 1999
