Salary:                        £20,369 - £23,397 per annum

Hours:                        37 hours per week

Location:        The Greenhouse, Annfield Plain, County Durham

Groundwork North East’s Environmental Business Services (EBS) team provides environmental auditing, consultancy and training services to private, public and third sector organisations.   We are looking for a dynamic individual to work as a member of the team, supporting the provision of a successful environmental consultancy service across the region in a diverse and busy environment ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality, as well as developing and delivering the Trust’s long term strategies.

You should be commercially and environmentally minded and experienced in liaising with businesses in the development and delivery of environmental consultancy and training services. You will have previous experience in the environmental field as well as experience of client support and development and able to delivery confidently within deadlines and project requirements. You will preferably have had previous experience of project development and management in order to assist senior EBS tem members to develop our range of consultancy options.

You will have a sound understanding of environmental legislation and environmental management systems, in particular ISO:14001 and BS8555 and an ability to  influence client organisations in a positive manner in order to improve environmental performance.  You will be educated to degree level in an environmental subject and have a committed and self-motivated personality.
