DIY Construction Co-ordinator – Perhentian Community Project, Malaysia Role As the Perhentian DIY/Handyman you will be placed at the forefront of our work within the community and with external organisations. You will be seen as one of the faces of the project and this should be considered at all times. When representing Ecoteer you should display a professional standard whilst remaining open and accessible to the community in which we operate. You will be responsible for leading various projects at the Ecoteer House and around the village and facilitating volunteers’ involvement within these projects. As part of a small team you are also expected to provide cover for your colleagues and as such should ensure you have a full understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Description of ideal candidate A passionate, friendly and social person who has experience of DIY. They will have a passion for community work and will want to make a difference to the local Perhentian People. They would be a confident swimmer and love living on tropical islands.
