Description

We are looking for experienced dive instructors who are passionate about marine conservation to work on our conservation research project in Tanzania!

Main duties include managing all diving operations associated with the marine research programme. This includes the supervision of daily scuba and in-water activities and to ensure the highest standard of maintenance to all dive equipment and boats.

This is a really exciting opportunity to gain experience managing volunteers and contribution to a marine conservation project. There is also the opportunity to advance your knowledge of environmental research techniques; you will evaluate coral cover and record fish and marine mammals through your dive surveys. Reef assessments will identify damaging practices and provide recommendations for sustainable management.

Minimum qualification of PADI instructor, experience servicing diving equipment. The idea candidate will have a background in marine biology and a RYA powerboat level 2 licence or above.
