Groundwork Lancashire West and Wigan is currently looking for a Development Officer to work within its Communities team based in Blackpool on a 9 month contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for someone who can develop and build effective relationships with key partners, community organisations and local people across target areas, with the purpose of identifying, developing and delivering environmental land, community and social regeneration projects.
Enthusiasm for the green environment and skills in community development, engagement and environmental project management are essential along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position will be subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
The position is initially a 9 month contract to cover maternity leave.
