Contract Manager

We are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind projects in the United Kingdom.

We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to be based at our London office in Belgravia.

Together with over 25 competent and enthusiastic colleagues in Denmark you will be part of the procurement department in Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit that plays a vital role in realizing DONG Energy's growth strategy. You will work out of our London office and be part of an initially small UK procurement team. You will from time to time have activities at DONG Energy’s other locations abroad particularly in Denmark.

Areas of responsibility

The key purpose of your role will be to undertake procurement and contract management activities within wind farm projects in UK.  You will plan and prepare project procurement strategies, ensure that project procurement targets are met successfully and ensure that relevant tendering laws, regulations and practices are applied. You will also be responsible for screening and identifying they most suitable suppliers, prepare tender documents and evaluate bids in close cooperation with technical and other stakeholders.  In addition you will prepare and conduct supplier negotiations and facilitate that contracts are completed on the best possible terms and conditions.
