•  Job  Description

The Consulting Associate would be trained in our trademarked analytical techniques (SCX™, HCX™) for evaluating the impacts of corporations on human, social and natural capital belonging to individuals, communities and the public at large. She/ he would assist large or  small companies discover, measure,value, manage and potentially report such impacts.

 The successful candidate would begin client-interactive work within 3 months, and be able to interact on-site with client teams across diverse geographies - from USA to Brazil to Europe to India - in order to assist corporate clients engage their sustainability strategies and use cutting-edge metrics for measuring progress, and for evaluating stakeholder performance, not just shareholder performance. 

•  Job Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional for our sustainability consultancy business based in Mumbai, GIST Advisory Pvt Ltd. Candidates must be inspired self-starters with a strong interest in sustainability and sustainable business practices.  Specifically, candidates will have :-

(1)        Education & Experience:

• Post-graduate, with either an under-graduate or post-graduate Degree in Economics, Econometrics or Environmental Economics
• At least 1 year work experience in a field relevant to sustainability
• Physics & Chemistry up to High School

(2)        Other Key Attributes: 

• Understanding the crucial importance of corporations measuring and reporting performance holistically and including corporate externalities 
• Desire to take on the challenge of implementing “Corporation 2020”  thinking in today’s large corporations ( see www.corp2020.com )
• String interest in receiving hands-on training in sustainability strategies and metrics by world-leading experts in these fields
• Highly quantitative person at ease with scientific, mathematical and economic numbers
• Excellent grades in early science education (maths/ physics / chemistry) 
• Mobility (working out of India and travelling abroad) 
• Attention to detail and ability to examine problems from all perspectives
• Professionalism, responsibility & ability to work in a team as well as individually
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines without sacrificing quality
