Consultant /Senior Consultant EIA

Job Summary:

An opportunity exists for a Consultant/Senior EIA Consultant to join my client’s national EIA team in their Southampton office.  The position offers excellent career development prospects within a dynamic and expanding multidisciplinary environment team, with exposure to a variety of development types across multi-sectors including defence, development and transport.  

If you have demonstrable experience of co-ordinating EIAs within a consultancy environment then we’d like to hear from you.  Experience of undertaking SEAs and knowledge of environmental permitting processes will also be highly regarded, as would specialist skills in an environmental discipline; ecology, landscape architecture, air quality or acoustics.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Your brief as EIA Consultant will include;

• EIA Co-ordination, project management and delivery;
• Client liaison and relationship management.

More Senior Candidates will also contribute to;

• Business Development;
• Provision of professional advice and support across the rest of business.

Qualifications / Experience:

The EIA Consultant should have;

• A relevant degree in an environment-related subject - postgraduate degree, desirable
• Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution
• Proven experience in the EIA consultancy field
• Good track record of successful project management and delivery
• Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation.
