Job Summary:

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team of ecological and arboricultural consultants and contribute to a varied workload. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients including the construction industry, local authorities and large landowners.

 

The ideal candidate will have proven consultancy experience and a track record of working with Great Crested Newts, including surveying, licence applications and mitigation implementation. 

Responsibilities:

The ecological consultant will;

• Understand clients’ requirements and deliver projects on time and on/under budget to a high standard.
• Produce tenders and fee proposals.
• Produce high quality technical reports in accordance with best practice guidelines.
• Lead Great Crested Newt surveys and be the primary contact within the company to deal with this work stream.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential:

• Associate IEEM member
• Natural England Great Crested Newt licence
• Demonstrable consultancy experience
• Proven experience of successfully preparing and applying for EPS licences for GCN.
