WWF-Australia, the global conservation organisation, is seeking a skilled conservation manager to build upon on the foundations of WWF’s SWAE conservation strategy to deliver conservation outcomes of international significance. With a focus on priority species, the position works with a diverse range of partners to leverage resources and support and develops pro-active on-ground activities to produce tangible results. 

With a track record in delivering transformative species conservation programs, the successful candidate will design and implement conservation projects and interventions utilising a broad and deep skills set to engage stakeholders and contribute to WWF-Australia’s broader biodiversity related fundraising strategies. 

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of conservation issues in Southwest Australia and will need:

• Experience in developing and maintaining large, complex cross-sector conservation programs 
• Experience in species and conservation planning, design, project management, budgeting and reporting
• High level communication skills including advocacy, media relations, networking, presenting and group facilitation to a diverse range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated track record in conservation fundraising
• An ability to build strong, credible relationships with Indigenous peoples, communities, government and industry
