Conservation Department Assistant Job description BirdLife International is a world-wide network of non-governmental conservation organizations represented in over 115 countries, and with a combined public membership of over 2.5 million people. The BirdLife mission is to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, working with people towards sustainability in the use of natural resources. The Partnership is coordinated by the BirdLife International Secretariat which has its global headquarters in Cambridge (UK). Main duties and responsibilities will include: • Organizing travel arrangements; including visas, booking flights and accommodation. The required qualifications and skills are: • Good general education to Degree level or equivalent Location: BirdLife International Secretariat, Cambridge Duration: 2 year contract with a possibility of extension Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week Closing date: Sunday 9th February 2014 Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 per annum dependent on experience.
