Community Projects Officer (fixed term to 31 March 2017) Salary: £20k - £23k per annum + benefits (DOE)
Keep Scotland Beautiful is the charity that campaigns, acts and educates on a range of local, national and global environmental issues to change behaviour and improve the quality of people’s lives and the places they care for. We are committed to making Scotland clean, green and more sustainable. We are seeking a Community Projects Officer (CPO) to join our Community Projects team. The CPO will ensure the efficient development, delivery and support of a range of community projects linked to themes such as biodiversity, community growing, litter picking and prevention and community-based awards programmes. Applications are sought from candidates who feel that they have the necessary experience and qualifications to undertake this role. With good working knowledge of developing, organising and delivering large-scale environmental community projects and award-based initiatives, candidates will also have practical experience of project and budget management. Experience of partnership working and coordinating volunteer participation is also required. The ability to develop and maintain website content and experience of supporting press, media and PR activity is also important.
