Community Project Officer (Low Carbon) £17,900 - £20,500 per annum
This post is Fixed term from 3rd January 2012 for 12 months, with possible training in December 2011.
This post will require some evening and weekend working.
The Role will involve:
· To support and deliver neighbourhood regeneration programmes, with a specific focus on low carbon and fuel poverty projects.
· To deliver and monitor a new Green Doctor programme in partnership with Orbit Heart of England. This will entail delivering home visits across the region, carrying out energy assessments and advising on energy efficiency issues and grant availability.
· To develop, deliver and monitor community awareness raising projects around energy efficiency/fuel poverty/renewable energy/general environmental awareness.
The closing date for this position is 12 noon Friday 2nd December 2011.
Please note, the successful candidate will need to be available to attend a City and Guilds in Energy Awareness course which takes place on 7, 8 and 14 December 2011.
