About Nature Conservation Council and the Our Land, Our Water, Our Future campaign

Nature Conservation Council of NSW (NCC) is the peak conservation group for NSW, representing more than 120 community environment groups across the state. Across NSW, our best farmland, drinking water catchments, special wild places and countless rural communities are under threat from the reckless expansion of the coal and gas industries. The system is broken and big coal and gas companies are riding roughshod over our democracy. Against this backdrop, an alliance of over 80 community groups have come together to form the “Our Land, Our Water, Our Future” campaign to protect our communities and natural resources from the impacts of the expanding coal and gas industries.
