Communications Manager, Italy

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) works to safeguard the world’s seafood supply by promoting the best environmental choice, and is recognised internationally as a ground-breaking and credible solution to the serious environmental problem of overfishing.

The post, reporting to the Program Director, will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of communications and marketing strategies for MSC in Italy. Utilising his/her creative and organisational skills, the post holder contributes to a diverse range of activities to promote the MSC’s mission and ensure successful delivery of the communications strategy. He/she will be responsible for growing the MSC’s media work, social media presence and events management in the Italy, he/she is a regular point of contact for members of the media

The ideal candidate will have a post-graduate degree in a relevant subject; experience in similar role; fluent in written and spoken Italian and English; a good working knowledge of sustainable development; experience working with media.
