Climate Change Impacts & Adaptation Senior Executive

We are seeking an outstanding senior executive to join ICF’s Climate Strategy Practice within Energy & Resources in the Washington, DC area.  You will be responsible for business development, management, and growth in the area of climate change impacts and adaptation for U.S. Federal agencies beyond the EPA.  You will assist in developing, selling, and managing expanded offerings in impacts and adaptation to private sector and international clients. In this important role, you will design and implement service offerings related to impacts and adaptation and develop related marketing plans, collateral, and programs. You will maintain a working knowledge of ICF projects related to climate change impacts and adaptation strategies and coordinate marketing efforts and cross-collaboration to strengthen our service offerings and leverage ICF expertise.  You will manage projects to high standards of client satisfaction, technical quality, and profitability.

You should have demonstrated and sustained expertise in assessing the risks of climate change (impacts) and developing and analyzing risk management (adaptation) options.  Your ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within teams will be important.  Your reputation and connections in the climate impacts and adaptation community (e.g., academics, consultants, and other experts who could team with ICF on projects) will be key.  You must have demonstrated success in capturing Government contracts as well as private sector engagements.
