Client Relationship Manager

 IDEAcarbon is looking for an outstanding candidate to join us ASAP for an initial three month period, with the possibility of becoming permanent to support the Directors of IDEAcarbon and The Carbon Ratings Agency, to help promote its products, contributes to the development of the strategic relationships.

 Responsibilities

 >Client facing work representing the company with the CEO and where possible alone

> Actively participate in core business meetings with existing and prospective relationships, which 

   include CXOs of top companies, investment banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, UN and other public

   sector organisations.  Help to develop new partnerships relevant for IDEAcarbon and The CRA’s

   business.  Exposure to high growth Company working on new and exciting initiatives in carbon

    markets.

> Support CEO and other staff in business meetings with existing and prospective clients. Take  

   meeting notes.

> Initiate and develop strategic relationships (end-to-end)

> Produce and deliver PowerPoint presentations to a wide range of external parties (investment

   banks, multi-lateral organisations, governments, Sovereign Wealth Funds, long term investors)

> Coordinate internal and external research to support the above numbers

> With CEO attend relevant and important events (e.g. UN Climate Summit)

> Organise and coordinate the day-today-activities of the team and maintain the work in

   progress (WIP) list i.e. meeting clients, managing external relationships, follow ups

 Profile

 We are looking for candidates with

> Good communications skills, both written and spoken in English.

>A degree in business, economics, environment or science related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

>Interest in climate policy, energy and carbon markets desirable.

>Excellent planning and organisation skills.

> Actively seeks to create and/or improve processes using previous experience in a constructive way.

> Patience and perseverance to ensure positive changes are made within the company.

> High level of self-motivation, proactive, flexibility and ability to work in a team.

> Flexible attitude and approach to changing requirements and priorities.

> Computer skills and ability to work in Excel, Powerpoint and other programmes
