Capital Projects Director

A new opportunity has arisen at the Eden Project for a Capital Projects Director.

You will be responsible for developing a portfolio of projects that are at varying stages of development, some still exploratory and others at final pre-construction design.

You will be responsible for the preparation of a refreshed master plan for the main site at Bodelva in line with the Eden Strategy and for leading the joint initiatives with partners in the 'Eco Town" development. You will direct, plan, programme and co-ordinate the resulting capital projects to successful delivery on brief, on time and on budget.

In addition to the capital project management you will be expected to perform a comprehensive review of the Eden estate and asset management procedures in association with the operations and finance teams.

You will have experience of large scale (multi million) capital projects, working within both the private and public sectors; have the ability to take a strategic overview, translate ideas, concepts and operational requirements into a coherent brief, recognise and demand quality, and maintain stakeholder and local community support.
