We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the continued growth of Envido.   Envido is a one of the fastest growing carbon management companies in the UK.  

The Business Development manager has primary responsibility for driving new business revenue and client acquisition within a defined sector. The Business Development Manager will build a solid pipeline of new opportunities by working within a defined prospect base and his/her own contacts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overall ownership of delivering new business revenue in an defined territory
  • Prospect, booking meetings and identifying opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Creating and delivering presentations to board and senior management audiences including Finance Director, Facilities Director and HR Director, as well as other Senior Executives across functional areas and business units
  • Preparing written proposals that clearly articulate the solution
  • Differentiating and positioning value proposition vs. competition
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Essential:

  • 5 years successful  new business solution sales experience
  • 5 years solution and product sales experience
  • Managing a complex multi-point sales cycle
  • Experience selling to publicly listed and/or large private organisations
  • Demonstrated experience selling into large accounts, and growing revenue within those accounts
  • Ability to manage a complex multi-point sales cycle
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Desirable

  • Ideally Degree qualified
