Job Purpose

The Business Development manager is an office/ field based position which is dedicated to maximising the new business performance of Envido in their assigned vertical sector by:

  • Achievement of all financial sales targets and sales activity levels
  • Identification and conversion of prospects to maximise profitable sales volume
  • Creation and maintenance of a solid pipeline of new opportunities
  • Managing the client from acquisition through to the handover (circa 18 months)
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identification of suitable prospective clients within defined area
  • Book prospects meetings with key decision makers to identify and progress opportunities
  • Differentiating and positioning of the Envido value proposition
  • Creating and delivering presentations at board level through to other key decision makers across functional areas and business units
  • Preparing written proposals that clearly articulate the solution
  • Opening new accounts with genuine potential to develop into profitable long term clients
  • Ensuring detailed prospect records are fully maintained on the CRM.
  • Continually updating and developing your knowledge of the overall market place, Envido’s portfolio and competitor activity
  • Ensuring professional hand-overs of converted clients to Account Managers at the appropriate time
