Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a creative individual to play a key role in selling their Ecology Consultancy services to existing and new clients.  As a confident communicator, with a track record of successful business development activity, you will work to promote the company brand, raise its profile and use your commercial intuition to generate new business leads.

You will be joining a well-established and friendly team of ecology specialists, so an added interest in ecology and conservation would see you fit particularly well into the role.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The Business Development Executive will;

  • Play a key role in selling the Company’s services to existing and new clients, including raising the profile, generating leads and winning new business.
  • Take a lead in new business development activities including coordinating, completing and tracking tenders.
  • Work closely with the internal communications team to implement marketing campaigns, increase the impact of digital marketing efforts and ensure an effective company marketing strategy.
  • Develop and Coordinate the company’s attendance at events including conferences, industry exhibitions and networking events.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

The Business Development Executive will have;

  • A Degree (ideally Environmental related) or a marketing diploma (IDM or CIM)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of successfully undertaking business development activities.
  • The ability to think creatively, take initiative and be organised.
  • A flair for communicating with an array of people across a range of levels, including excellent writing, copywriting and editing skills.
  • Experience of working with social media and digital marketing.
