Would you like be part of a highly skilled team working with sustainable energy in a large international organisation?

Join us and become Business Consultant in our business function Project Development, which is part of Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 725 employees.

We are one of the leading companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources. We are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind projects in the United Kingdom.

You will be joining a newly established support function, Strategy and Performance, with eight committed colleagues with various skills and educational backgrounds. We focus on improving and optimising the development of wind farm projects. You will participate in our work on generating steady-flow project opportunities and developing projects towards final investment decisions.

You will be based at our office in Gentofte near Copenhagen; however, you should expect some business travels in relation to our international operations.

Areas of responsibility

You will report to the head of Strategy and Performance. Your primary task will be to participate in various tasks and processes focusing on our portfolio of wind projects from the idea phase through to potential investment decision.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • participate in relevant projects within Renewables focusing on strategy and project development
  • prepare and coordinate materials for the Renewables management team, including internal recommendations materials for our company's investment committee
  • conduct new market screening and analysis of market development
  • participate in or head various analytical and ad hoc tasks.

Your profile

You will hold a relevant degree in economics, for example a Master of Science Degree from a business school or a university; or you may have another relevant educational background.

Furthermore, you will preferably have two-five years of relevant experience from a consultancy company or a large international company.

As we are an international company and work closely together with our colleagues abroad, it will be essential that you speak and write both Danish and English fluently. You will especially have profound written and oral communication skills. Furthermore, you will be able to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward way to your colleagues and business partners.

It is essential, that you are a super user of the Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

It is essential that you are a dynamic professional who are able to find both constructive and practical solutions to strategic, operational and technical challenges. You will enjoy working in a highly dynamic environment where we are often required to meet tight deadlines and match high expectations for delivering results.

Additionally, you will have interpersonal skills and wish to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues to contribute actively to the development of the field.
